O’s Notes: The sweet tones of Hendrick Meurkens’ vibes and harmonica lead many of the melodies on this one but the mood is set and the rhythm maintained by the legendary veteran guitarist, Mundell Lowe. Lowe, at 79, has over fifty years playing jazz and it shows. Larry Porter (p), Pat O’Leary (b) and Chuck Redd (d) round out the fine band. The mood is right!
