O’s Notes: This is a swinging duet between two masterful musicians, Konitz on sax and Petrucciani on piano. This is beautiful music, strikingly innocent and charming. They breathe new magic into standards and take them subtly to new heights. They also play a few of their own tunes. This is a perfect backdrop for an art display.
