O’s Notes: This set of eleven tunes is as fresh as the title courtesy of Dotti’s work on flute. This is her long awaited debut recording and it is well worth the wait. Taylor combines originals and her favorite standards with a taste of Latin for a fresh, jovial program. She records with a strong cast of musicians along with strong guidance from producer Houston Person. This is beyond a good jazz flute performance, it is very good jazz!
