O’s Notes: Greg leads this quartet through eight new neo-bop songs plus one cover. The tones of his sax are blue as he dances through the melodies, trading off with George Colligan on piano for some nice interplay, notably on “Nebulosity”. There is also a nice arrangement of “The Very Thought of You” It’s mostly upbeat, with lots of open creative passages with good harmony.
