O’s Notes: Dave is a master of percussion; bongos, congas, chimes, bells, drums, blocks,… With this release he’s put together sixteen songs, each 100% percussion (overdubbed). Don’t say no too quickly, the beats are nicely interleaved to create good feeling and expression. Some songs are mellow, some festive and some spacey. We found ourselves engaged and restarting the CD before noticing the lack of brass, guitars, piano and vocals.
