O’s Notes: Tony plays trumpet and assembles a large ensemble including top jazz musicians David Mann (sax), Andy Snitzer (sax), Jason Rigby (sax), Mike Holober (p), David Finck (b), Pete McCann (g) and special guest Randy Brecker (t). They are a rather spunky big band performing powerful brassy takes on classic popular tunes. The symphonic arrangements are unique but not too distant from the originals to destroy the themes, a good thing!
