O’s Notes: The cool blends of Shearing’s piano, Don Thmpson’s vibes and Reg Schwager’s guitar are anchored by NeilSwainson (b) and Dennis Mackrel (d). The music, a dozen well selected jazz classics, really swings in a very soothing way. “Drop Me Off In Harlem”, “Donna Lee” and “Fly Me To The Moon” stand out on this live set.
