O’s Notes: Multi-instrumentalist, composer and bandleader Gordon Goodwin brings his Big Phat Band into 2022 to commemorate a new beginning. The vibe is upbeat on this short set of five songs, The Reset, as we try to get back to some semblance of normal! The path has not been as clear as expected and the cleanup is extensive… this music is on point and indicative of where we, are highlighted by “Through The Fire” featuring vocalist Vangie Gunn. Other soloists include Eric Marienthal (s-sax), Jeff Driskill (t-sax), Mike Rocha (t), Francisco Torres (TBD), and Goodwin on keyboards.
