O’s Notes: The combination of David’s tenor sax, the warm guitar of Larry Koonse, Alan Broadbent on piano, Joe LaBarbera on drums ad bassist Darek Oles results in a relaxing mellow set. There is no showboating, just good music. Our favorites were “Shark-eez” and “In Black and White” with hints of bossa nova. But the entire CD is enjoyable.
