O’s Notes: Vibré is a quartet with Frank Rackow (sax), Greg Prioe (b), Robin Tufts (d) and leader vibraphonist Arnold Faber. They have performed as a unit for 4+ years and are very tight. They play seven songs, mostly new arrangements of strong jazz tunes like “Afro Blue”. Among the best are “Sink Or Swim” and “The Unsquare Dance”. This is a relaxed cool set that works well.
