O’s Notes: We embraced this CD right away with the opener, “Bubbles”. It is a perfect introduction to the set that evolves into a great session. They relax the pace on “Changes” before accelerating our pulse with the syncopated beats of “Lucaya” and settling into a cool groove on the title track. Steve (p) Bill Moring (b) and Tim Horner (d) form a trio that really swings. Allee’s compositions are fresh and easy to enjoy.
