Test has operated under the radar on the New York Jazz scene and recently took the drumming role for Germany’s WDR Big Band. Billy is a force to reckon with! This is a dynamic performance with Gregor chipping in a fine solo on the opener “All of You” and Froman lighting it up on “Mother’s Day With Freud”. Shared engagement and a swinging vibe make Coming Down Roses (Test’s debut as a leader) a winner.
