O’s Notes: Trombonist Brian Pastor leads eighteen musicians on Common Men. This is an enjoyable large ensemble that plays fourteen classic tunes. The band sounds festive on “Fanfare For The Common Man”; a marching band tune. Then they switch into the mellow mode with “You Don’t Know What Love Is”. This is a great display of versatility that kept it in our changer for over a month!
