O’s Notes: Alexander celebrates the music of Bob Marley on Concrete Jungle. He returned to Marley’s famous Tuff Gong studio in Jamaica for the recording. While all twelve songs are Marley compositions including a nice arrangement of “War” featuring Luciano singing. Monty’s voice also comes through along with a modernization that makes the music feel contemporary. This is an enjoyable tribute.
