O’s Notes: This is a longstanding Norwegian jazz band featuring Finn Hauge (violin, harmonica), Jon Larsen (g), Per Frydenlund (g, vocal) and Svein Aarbostad (b). As the title suggests this is a collection of songs written or inspired by the legendary Django Reinhardt. You can’t argue the merits of the music and the Hot Club De Norvege is a polished ensemble able to deliver the goods note for note. This is solid, relaxing music.
