O’s Notes: John Toomey (p), jimmy Masters (b) and Dave Ratajczak (d) join leader John Fedchock (tb) on Fluidity, a live set captured at Havana Nights in Virginia Beach during August 2013. The title describes the seamless interaction between the musicians as well as Fedchock’s rich tone on his trombone. They play nine selections including two originals notably “Havana”. This is a warm set that is easy to embrace and the live audience did just that!
