O’s Notes: B’Shnorkestra is a Seattle based large ensemble featuring the work of composer Samantha Boshnack. The music is a collage of many different genres including Latin, pop, rock, avant-garde, reggae and jazz, a mix a crazy as the cover illustration. There are Latin percussive beats with brass accents and strings but the music is never congested. It’s a rather eclectic endeavor that is creative, unique and intriguing. Our favorites: “La Noche Negra” and “B’Shnultimate”.
