O’s Notes: The sweetness of Ali’s flute resonates on “My One and Only Love”, a fine example of the peaceful sounds form this trio. Howard Paul (g) and George Sheck (b) round out the band. They swing on the upbeat “Recordame” and the more relaxed “Body & Soul”. It was a live recording session at The Jazz Corner in Hilton Head, NC. The acoustics were excellent in front of an appreciative audience. Club owner, Bob Masteller (flugelbone) joins in on “Just Friends” capping an excellent set.
