O’s Notes: Pianist Roger Kellaway (p) usually hangs out on the West Coast but this time he’s at the Village Vanguard in New York with another seasoned master, Eddie Daniels on clarinet. They combine me forces with bassist Buster Williams and Al Foster on drums, two first call musicians that fit in seamlessly! The time was 1988 and these cats were polished in their prime. The club listening experience is recreated like many other masterpieces worked by George Klabin. This is a treasure to behold, five tunes, two each from the headliners with a cover of the title track. Sit back, have a drink and join the audience.
