O’s Notes: These are eight super swinging classics in the spirit of the 1940’s. It was recorded at sea on the QEII during November 2000. The session includes both slower tunes like “Mood Indigo” as well as upbeat dance enticements like “Bernie’s Tune”, “Blue Lou” and “Three Little Words”. We also liked the rolling bubbly arrangement of “Undecided” with it’s happy feeling and spirit. Kenny’s work on clarinet with Joe on sax make this a very nice CD.
