O’s Notes: This is a live trio: Ugonna Okegwo (b), Al Foster (d) and pianist, leader Bruce Barth. The music swings nicely: ten songs, a few originals and some Monk. We liked the free flowing spirit of this session, especially cuts like “Let’s Call This”.
