O’s Notes: Drummer Jeff Hamilton has a well-established trio with Tamir Hendelman (p) and Christof Lundy (d). Tenor saxophonist Scott Hamilton (no relation to Jeff) is the featured guest and he is up to the task. They really swing on “This Can’t Be Love”, “Sybille’s Day” and on the ballad “Key Lardo”. There is a lot of variety and spark making Live in Bern a strong session.
