O’s Notes: We loved Bob Mintzer’s“All LA Band“(5/4) and we’ve always enjoyed the New York Voices. They’ve come together on“Meeting Of The Minds“to record ten songs in just over one hour. It is undoubtedly an hour well spent. The band is dynamic with well-placed, thoughtful solos and warm, sweet vocal harmonies. The combination is sensational. Highlights are “I Concentrate On You”, “Autumn Leaves”, “You Go To My Head” and “Old Devil Moon”.
