O’s Notes: Rogers is great on solo piano and also as a bandleader. On“Music From The Heart,“his latest release, Roger teams up with Hendrick Meurkens on vibes & harmonica, bassist Eduardo Belo and Adriano Santos on drums to form his quartet. They play fifteen original compositions that have a playful, free flowing, Brazilian spirit. Davidson, continuing his love of Latin music, has crafted some excellent, heartfelt listening music with producer Pablo Aslan.
