O’s Notes: The trio is Miroslav Vitous (b), Also Romano (d) and leader, pianist Steve Kuhn. They play a relaxed set that has lots of air yet lots of substance. We’d say it is just enough music to wet our palate. All of the music selections are newly arranged classics save the title track, a Kuhn original. Steve steps up midway through the second song “Lotus Blossum” to assert his prowess on the ivories, blazing through the changes invigorating the listener and seemingly inspiring the band. The music swings nicely with energy in the right places over the entire set.
