O’s Notes: Frank’s guitar technique is impeccable, whether burnin’ on bop or simmerin’ at a relaxed pace, he never misses a beat. The15 tracks are mostly new music written by drummer Joe Ascione (6), bassist John Goldsby (2) and one each from Randy Sandke (t) and Vignola. The band is seasoned with veterans Roland Hanna (p) and Frank Wess (s, fl). Almost 80 minutes of pleasure!
