O’s Notes: Violinist Diane Delin presents eleven traditional and standard songs in a new light that turns out to be very colorful and bright. She is joined by Dennis Luxion (p), Eric Montzka (d) and either Larry Kohut or Eric Hochberg on bass. They put a Latin twist on “My Favorite Things” that freshens it up quite a bit! The notes just dance off of Delins’s strings! Other favorites are their swinging version of “Deck The Halls” and “Sleigh Ride”. While these tunes are meant to celebrate the December Holiday season, we find them fittingly enjoyable year round!
