O’s Notes: The party starts on the opener, “Seyin Djro” and continues with strong songs like “Congo Habanera”, “Djovamin Yi” and “Macumba”. This is great music speaking of a great cause. There are no English lyrics but somehow this was not a distraction. Kidjo wrote all of the music and lyrics and it is well done. The message of the lyrics is jovial and upbeat, seeking positive changes in our world and the music mirrors the feelings.
