O’s Notes: Roger follows albums featuring samba (Rodgers in Rio) and tango (Mango Tango) with this collection of bolero tunes. Davidson (p) composed the bulk of the music and employs a fine cast of musicians including Ignacio Berroa (d), Pernell Saturnino (perc), David Finck (b), Marco Granados (fl) and Francisco Navarro (g). They bend the rules a bit accelerating the pace to more of a rumba on some of the tunes but they are all danceable and passionate. Grab your partner!
