O’s Notes: Gary’s orchestra is full and warm. The fourteen songs range from swinging ballads – “When You Wish Upon A Star” to Latin pieces – “Chucho” along with some of Gary’s own – “Blues On Ice”. The arrangements are fresh with strong solos on each track. Variety with pace and dynamics set this one out!
