O’s Notes: This contemporary Brazilian band modernizes choro, Brazilian ragtime music. Daniela Spielman is featured on sax along with guitarist Marcello Goncalves. The first 3 songs are upbeat with a solid samba core. Our favorite, “Pagode Jazz Sardinha’s Club”, really swings.
