O’s Notes: The rich sounds of Andy’s sax speak in many languages with this new CD, a collection of 10 new bebop compositions with unique characteristics. Andy gets help form Kenny Wheeler (t) and Nils Wogram (tb) to make a strong statement with brass. Bassist John Herbert also has a notable performance, especially on “Bass Intro”. Good work all around.
