O’s Notes: John Fedchock has warm tone on trombone that works wonderfully on melodies. He enlists the support of a solid rhythm section including John Toomey (p), Jimmy Masters (b) and the late Dave Ratajczak (d).“Reminiscence“revisits a live session recorded at Havana Nights in Virginia Beach during August 2013. The bulk of that session was released in 2015 as“Fluidity. These are the leftovers but like a good stew, they are better with time! The final track was recorded with drummer Billy Williams on March 10, 2012 at the same venue. All seven selections are worthy.
