O’s Notes: Pianist Bill Mays makes his Palmetto debut in a trio format with Martin Wind (b) and Matt Wilson (d). The strong interplay between the band leads to a nice performance with both jazz classics and new material composed by each of the members. The sound (modern jazz) is warm and soothing.
