O’s Notes: There is something magical about a large ensemble, especially when they play our favorite tunes. Battaglia’s big band is complete with a powerful brass section including Lou Caputo (sax), Pete Miranda (sax) and Danny Repole (tb). Joe weighs in with a rich showing especially with his solos on “The Shadow of Your Smile” and “For All We Know”. Keren Tzobotaro is a fresh voice on four vocal tracks notably “At Last”. These sixteen selections are recognizable renditions with lots of punch ready for dancing or just good listening!
