O’s Notes: Andy is a master of the steel drums, an instrument that is a part of the festive atmosphere in the Caribbean. The music was composed by Andy and developed at Calypsociation steelband school in Paris. We didn’t know such a place existed but after listening to this CD, we are very appreciative. Narell is joined by the world-renowned percussionist Luis Conte and either Mark Walker or Jean Philippe Fanfant on drums. The title track swings for nearly 14 minutes and if you aren’t feeling the groove by then see your doctor! We also like “Tabanca” featuring guest artist David Sanchez (sax). This will certainly liven up your party.
