O’s Notes: Chicago-based vocalist Tatum Langley leads the charge on Tatum’s Swingin’ Session with the Shout Section Big Band directed by Brett Dean. There’s a wide variety of tunes ranging from jazzy pop to blues. The brass-heavy band is swinging hard on “Swinging On Nothing”, Langley soars on “A Hard Day’s Night”, and sings the blues on “Deedle’s Blues”.
