O’s Notes: Martin Taylor is one of the best guitarists on the scene today. We would expect a ‘Best of’ CD from him to be great and this 2-disc set doesn’t disappoint us. There are 26 songs recorded between 1991 and 2003 on Linn, Sony Jazz and P3 Music labels. This is just a snapshot of his career that spans over 30 years. The styles range from Latin to Pop to Bebop and include both solos and group performances. There is some incredible stuff here! We liked “No Pedestrians”, “I Got Rhythm” and “The Odd Couple” to name a few. This is a world-class collection from a world-class musician.
