O’s Notes: Leroy played his bass like he was taking care of business, direct, in charge, confident and with success. This live 1996 session in trio format finds Vinnegar (on bass) still able to walk, run, and get the job done; a consummate musician. Jessica Williams also delivers a formidable performance on piano.
