O’s Notes: Italian pianist, DiSabatino invited John Patitucci (b) and Horaco “El Negro” Hernandez (d) to form Threeo. Good move! The trio breathes life into the music. We loved Paulo’s “F.S. Blues, the opener. It’s a nice blend of originals and straight-ahead swinging classics.
