O’s Notes: The headliners tenor saxophonist Noah Preminger and bassist Kim Cass work together to produce Thunda, a set of ten original songs. The stage is open and airy for their freely improvised set, with a wide variation of tempo and moods. There is a sense of nature and natural sounds that are prevalent throughout. We enjoyed the peaceful sounds of “Iris” contrasting with the spirited “Tradr Hoez” before the eerie “Drone”.
