O’s Notes: Storrs (d) and company are veteran fusion players who played together at several different times and space. They all migrated from the left coast and came together in New York to create Time Share, a structured free jam session of five compositions. “It’s Not Always Pretty” has a hint of reggae beat beneath the melodies courtesy of bassist Dick Sarpola. Rob Thomas’s violin is used for a lot of the melodies while George Sarpola’s percussion serves as a glue that holds things together especially on the title track.
