O’s Notes: Three fine musicians, Anthony Jackson on bass, drummer Horacio “El Negro” Hernandez and leader Michel Camilo (piano) make Triangulo, a fresh collection of mainly new Latin based tracks. The music sounds energetic on both upbeat, funky tunes as well as the laid back songs. The heart and soul of the program is Michel’s work on the keys which makes the music come alive. He plays equally well with both hands creating what seems to be more than a trio.
