O’s Notes: This is an excellent tribute with Didier (violin) assembling musicians and music that are a part of the Grappelli legend. The music breathes with warm memories of the master violinist and stands on it’s own as well. Both Lockwood and guitarist Bireli Lagrene are modern masters extending their repertoire here.
