O’s Notes: Ruby continues to record strong performances on Arbors; this one is his thirteenth. He seems to have an endless repertoire of good music and excellent tone from his cornet. The addition of strings along with talented musicians like Howard Alden (g), Bucky Pizzarelli (g), Skitch Henderson (p) and Kenny Davern (cl) make everything flow smoothly. This set has variety that is easy to listen to time and time again!
