O’s Notes: Mitchell Jones is the composer and co-producer of this modern jazz set. They music swings with a groove that will make you move. The band that delivers Visions and Revisions is co-producer Clay Ostwald (p), David Fernandez (sax), Sandy Poltarack (g), Jamie Ousley (b), Danny Burger (d), Olbin Burgos (d), George Mazzeo (d), Eric Allison (sax) and Teddy Mulet (t, tb). There is nothing too flashy, just a tight unit that brings home the message. It is worth a listen.
