O’s Notes: Davis’ trio swings so hard they sound like a large ensemble. His drums take up a lot of space as the cymbals ring providing glue between bassist Peter Dominguez and Mark Soskin (p). All three are established musicians and play large on this outing. Mark and Glenn each contribute three originals complemented by covers of three classic tunes. This one was easy to sit back and enjoy more than once.
