O’s Notes: This is a swinging set with good work by leader and trombonist Peter Lin. He assembles The Lintet that includes Anthony Ware (sax), James Zola’s (t), Ben Ruebens (b) and Winard Harper (d). There’s a taste of New Orleans on ”Rose, Rose, I Love You” featuring co-producer Anthony Nelson on flute. This band plays“With Respect“to their forbearers and to each other for a very good session.
