O’s Notes: Michael’s Jazz Quartet consists of bassist Peter Nobile, Kevin Golden on guitar, drummer Tim Hermann and leader Antonelli on sax. Each of them plays with cool confidence on their solos with Antonelli standing out. Michael wrote all of the tunes. This session was recorded live at his home early in 2008. The music is pure, mellow, swinging jazz that serves as fine entertainment all the way through. This is their first recording and hopefully not their last!
