O’s Notes: Drummer Jon Di Fiore leads a formidable trio with bassist Adrian Moring and pianist Billy Test. They sound larger than a trio as they perform Di Fiore’s original neobop compositions. Family, events, desperate situations and emotions inspired the music. Our favorites are “Orange”, “Inkleined” and “Demise”. Yellow Petals is an expressive session with a lot to relate to in song. They are all instrumentals but they speak volumes!
